FOOTLOCKER 2006

Each year Bob takes a few qualityrunners out to the Footlocker Invitational to run against the best High School runners
on the western part of the US. This year,Marcus ran in the seeded race and there were almost 200 runners in the race. He
finished 108th with a time of 17:36 on a very difficult and challenging 3.1 mile course and felt this was a well run race for him and he improved his time from last year by 35 seconds.

california 06 trip

We took about 10 days at the end of June to get out of the heat and went to California to see some sights. First, we stopped off at the Reagan Presidential Library and enjoyed rich history and got to walk through air force one. Then we spent a day in Yosemite National Park and took in the beauty of God's handiwork. From there we headed up to Lake Tahoe and spent about 5 days there. Before heading back to Phoenix, we stopped in and stayed with our dear friends, the Cates, and enjoyed the time we got to spend with them.
